AME Electrical Contracting is hiring an Industrial Electrical Superintendent with specialized experience in water and wastewater treatment facilities to lead field operations on industrial jobsites.
Position Summary
- Supervise daily field operations, crews, and foremen on industrial electrical projects
- Direct manpower planning, sequencing, and daily work assignments
- Coordinate with project managers on schedules, budgets, and job costs
- Read and apply electrical plans, specifications, and process/instrumentation drawings
- Oversee installation of power distribution, motor controls, instrumentation, generators, and process equipment
- Coordinate with municipalities, engineers, vendors, and facility operators
- Enforce jobsite safety, OSHA compliance, and quality control
- Manage material logistics, subcontractor coordination, and field reporting
- Identify risks and schedule conflicts early and drive practical solutions
- Support recruiting, training, and development of field personnel
Qualifications
- 5+ years of industrial electrical construction experience, including supervisory or foreman-level responsibility
- Specialized experience in water and wastewater treatment facilities
- Strong knowledge of industrial power distribution, motor controls, instrumentation, generators, and process equipment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, specifications, and technical documents
- Working knowledge of the NEC and applicable electrical codes
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
