AME Electrical's Industrial Department is hiring Industrial Electricians, from apprentices to experienced journeymen, for water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and other industrial projects across Arizona. If you know industrial electrical work, can read prints, troubleshoot problems, and produce quality work safely, we want to talk to you. Strong performers can grow into Lead and Foreman roles.

Position Levels
Journeyman Electricians
5+ years of experience
- Run work independently from prints
- Install and terminate MCCs, motors, VFDs, and control panels
- Troubleshoot motor, control, and power distribution issues
Apprentices (AP3–AP4)
3rd–4th year apprentice or equivalent industrial field experience
- Assist with conduit installation, wire pulls, terminations, and material handling
- Work under supervision while developing industrial trade skills
- Must show reliability, effort, and willingness to learn
- Prior industrial jobsite experience required
Experience We're Looking For
- MCCs and motors
- VFDs and controls
- Control wiring and troubleshooting
- 480V three-phase power distribution
- Conduit bending and installation: EMT, rigid, and PVC
- Underground installations
- Reading electrical prints, one-lines, and control schematics
Core Responsibilities
Based on experience level
- Install and terminate MCCs, motors, VFDs, and control panels
- Bend and install EMT, rigid, and PVC conduit, including underground runs
- Pull and terminate power and control wiring
- Troubleshoot motor, control, and power distribution issues
- Build from prints, one-lines, schematics, and specs
- Coordinate with foremen, inspectors, and facility operators
- Follow lockout/tagout and safe work practices in operating facilities
- Complete work clean, code-compliant, and on schedule
Minimum Requirements
- Previous industrial electrical experience required (water/wastewater, manufacturing, or other plant work). This is not an entry-level position.
- Ability to work safely on active industrial jobsites, including operating facilities
- Dependability, accountability, and strong work ethic
- Willingness to work at project sites across Arizona.
- Reliable transportation
